Yep, I betcha never thought you would read/hear that sentence ever in your life! Lol, I am still laughing thinking about that situation from yesterday! Yesterday after spending a few hours out on the farm, we headed home to the parents house house for some swim time, I think this is going to be the theme for many more blog posts this summer, cause we cannot seem to get enough of the pool during the summer. We spent a few hours lounging in the pool (oh wait that was my sister who was lounging), I was the one doing the swimming/entertaining of the kiddo's. After Auntie Erin everyone was done swimming we got out and dried off and headed out to ride scooters, yep even Auntie Erin on her awesome red razor! Well, in comes Ryan, Shannon & Caroline for an afternoon visit and swim, so we head back to the pool to "watch" the three of them swim, well Miss Mari is obsessed with her cousin Caroline and she wants to make sure Caroline is having the best time ever swimming, so she is getting her toys and making sure sure is well taken care of. All of you know how it starts when you have a fully clothed 3year old and there is a pool nearby. It usually starts off by getting the shoes wet cause there is water, DUH, so you take the shoes off, well in this case Mari stepped into the pool with her shoes on (oops! Auntie Erin was not doing a good job watching her), then the pants get a little wet cause you are getting a little close to the pool or you are crawling around the deck that has a puddle here and there, so you take the pants off so they don't get soaked cause they are the only pair you have, now you are only wearing your panties and a shirt, so you sit in a puddle in your panties and they are soaked, so then you decide that this 3year old should be wearing the wet bathing suit that was taken off an hour or so ago, so you help the 3year old change on the pool deck after yelling to her Mom to bring out the wet suit, so you are standing on the pool deck changing the kiddo and as you are taking her panties off they get caught on her foot, well in an effort to help you out the 3year old flicks her panties off her foot and they FLY into the pool and you hear her scream "my panties are sinking" and you look down into the pool and sure enough there are her panties at the bottom of the pool, you then pray that there is an extra pair in the bag of crap stuff that came along with the kids that day! Lol! I LOVE being and Aunt and not having to worry too much if there is an extra set of panties, cause, well I am just the AUNT and I am not responsible for that stuff, it is one of those moments where you play with the kids, love them all day long and send them back! :)
