Merry Christmas Part 2 and Happy Birthday!

Yesterday we celebrated Christmas and Miss Mari's 6th birthday with the extended family, it is crazy to think that she is already six years old.  We all had such a nice time together, Super Mom put together a wonderful lunch for all of us and we had so much to talk and laugh about.

Caroline was very concerned that Uncle Mike did not have any presents to open so she wanted to draw him a picture, it started out as a shark and then it turned into him.

Caroline drew a picture of Uncle Mike.

Can you see the resemblance?

Cole got Simon, I love this game.

Grammy and Grampy bought Mari a bike for Christmas.

Miss Mari's birthday was on Friday, she got a ton of Barbie stuff and was one happy girl.

Merry Christmas everyone, you are the best family anyone could have and Happy Birthday Mari, Auntie Erin loves you sooooo much.

Our Last Day and My Last Post About Hawaii!

Goodness, it seems like this trip recap is never going to end, but good news this is the last post about Kauai 2013.  Our last day started out at Hanalei Coffee Roasters to pick-up their well known cinnamon rolls before they sold out.  After we checked out of our house we headed to the Hanalei Community Center, the recreation coordinator dork in me has to stop at all of the local community centers whenever  on vacation and take pictures.

This was soooo good.

I wonder if they are hiring?

Our last picture of the trip.

Now stay tuned for more Christmas pictures and posts, lol it never ends.

Christmas Day!

Sorry for the delay in posting our Christmas Day pictures, between Christmas Day activities, making apple pies, lounging in my PJ's all day Christmas Day, a early checkout time on Thursday and traveling home and walking in my door at 1am on Friday I just have not had a moment to get this done.

Nothing like a little Merry Christmas from the beach.

Looks like Santa was here!

It was coal for Cole.

Mari and I got inked compliments of Santa.

They are a tad bit excited.

Morning at the beach.

I was in charge of feeding the littles lunch, so they had ice cream and cookies.  #bestauntever

We found Santa here after busy night delivering toys.

The apple pie I mentioned above, yum yum.

I hope everyone had a VERY Merry Christmas, we sure did!

Christmas Eve in Hawaii with the Fam!

Merry Christmas Eve Everyone!!!

Today was another great day Hawaii (are there bad days in Hawaii?), Super Mom, Super Dad and I took a little road trip to the South Shore, I did not take any pictures because it was not really calling to me, but we did see an amazing rainbow on our way home, so we stopped and played tourist and took a bunch of photos.  We stopped at the Hanalei Wake-Up Cafe again today, check out the restaurant hours, umm, someone did not proof read this closely #imonetotalkihavealotofmistakesonthisblog.

One of our many stops today….

We had a little ice cream along the way.

A view of the rainbow from the car.

Santa brought this girl a pony for Christmas, or maybe just while visiting Kauai.

The other day we went to the market and Mike picked up some beer and we were laughing because he wanted to make sure it was protected on the drive home so he put it in the center console and as we were driving home we realized we were doing it all wrong.

Us.

The local way, ha ha.

Some yummy fruit from the islands.

Ya, not the best pic of us, but we were having fun.

I hope everyone is at home with their families tonight, we are gearing up for another yummy dinner together and for Santa to visit the littles tonight.

Surf, Sand, Swimming & Shave Ice

Another great day on the island of Kauai!  Today we headed to Poipu for a change of scenery and some more snorkeling, the weather and water were beautiful and I got some more good shots of the littles.  We started the day with a little breakfast from the Wake-up Cafe.

Not the best food, but it was better than making a mess at home!

We crashed the pool at the Marriott, it comes with this amazing view!

These guys love the waves!

The pool, it was so nice and warm.

After the beach and pool we hit Kauai's Best Shave Ice.

This girl ate the whole thing!

So did this guy.

Another selfie.
I ate most of it until it took a tragic fall brought on the littles.  :(

Mike; he never makes the blog, he is the littles Dad.

Well, that is all for tonight, my eyeballs are fried, Kathy needs help with dinner (she has been cooking way too much for us) and I need a shower bad.
