Roll on Volvo Roll on!

It's not everyday when you pull up behind your old car at a stop light!  As I was leaving HB on Saturday, I was driving down Slater and I noticed a black Volvo going the same way I was and low and behold it was my old car!  I once was the proud owner of that beautiful black S40 Volvo, oh how I loved that car and oh how I thought I looked so good driving that car, but that car was a train wreck.  I should of known from the beginning when I first bought it that it was gonna be a headache considering I had to take it back to the dealer the next day after I purchased it because the heater did not work.  After only owning the car for a year and half she had been to the dealer five times for crazy weird electrical issues and the last time she was at the dealer they had her for 30 days.  So after her 30 day stay at the dealer and finding out that if her issues had not been covered by the warranty it would of cost me $8000 to fix her I had enough and put a for sale sign on her.  After about a month she was sold (don't worry, I gave the new owners all of her paperwork with all of the repairs that were done, not sure if they read them, but that is not my problem) and I went and bought my Honda CRV, lets just say the CRV has never had one issue (knock on wood) and I have never looked back, well at least not until Saturday when I saw lil Miss Volvo driving down the street, sniff, sniff, tear!  I'm not gonna lie, I so wanted her back and I wanted to roll down my window and ask the new owner to pull over so that I could get a good look at her and make sure she has been well taken care of, but in the event that I would look like some crazy person I choose not too, so I took a couple pictures and watched her drive off into the sunset, well not exactly into the sunset, more like on to the 405 freeway, lucky for me I got to follow her for a few miles down the freeway!

She now has tinted windows and is in desperate need of a bath!

Let's Go Shopping!

Yesterday marked the first official day of the selling of my burp cloths and onesie's!  Yep, that is right I am open for business, my first day on the job was on the corner of Neargate and Rainglen and yes it is all legal and it is not "that" kind of corner business, it was actually the annual neighborhood garage sale.  It all kind of started a few months back when my little niece Caroline was born and she needed to add a little color to her boring white burp cloths, so Auntie Erin stepped in to help the girl out.  Then shortly after her birth my friend Marisa was expecting her 3rd baby and instead of having the typical baby shower her mom & sister hosted a onesie shower where all of the guests decorated a onesie for little Soren.  Well with my limited sewing experience I was now confident that I too could sell these just like the pros on etsy!

Yesterday's sale did not yield as many sales as I hoped and I was thinking that my first day was pretty much a bust until some of my mom's bunco friends came to the rescue and bought some of my oh so cute burp cloths!

HTML Code is NOT my friend!

So, I spent the better part of this evening creating a blog button and the HTML code to go with it, needless to say I have failed miserably at it and I am still trying to figure it out.  I am thinking tomorrow with a fresh set of eyes I might be able to accomplish this.  So, in the mean time you can look at my pretty button but you cannot grab it! I think eventually I will link my button to my etsy shop (still in the works) and use if for that purpose only, but seriously how cool would it be to have someone grab my button and put it on their blog, I think really cool and if any of you out there want to help a girl out and share your HTML code knowledge or you want to trade services ie: babysitting, swimming lessons or a cute onesie or tee for your kiddo's in return for some HTML support, please let me know!

Here she is!

You know it has been a long time since.....

you have been to the gym when you show up and buildings that once stood in a parking lot are now long gone!  Lol!  I have to say sadly with a slight work schedule change and swimming lessons I have been sleeping in a little and have neglected to go to my 5:30am workout.  However, with  the addition of some major middle jiggle I am back on the wagon and will no longer miss major construction developments in my city.
Yep, there used to be a building there!

Proof I was at the gym!

Bad Blogger

So I have been M.I.A from the blog this past week, it has just been a busy week of swimming lessons with B-Man (lots of pics and video's to come as soon as I get the camera cords from my parents), family picnics at the beach, the dreaded job  the job I am so thankful for (ugh, no more surfing on Fridays with friends), the dog who keeps me busy and life in general!

A little cuteness to make up for my blogging absence!

Crystal Cove

This morning I met up with some of my workout gal pals at Crystal Cove State Beach for a morning workout on the sand and a delicious breakfast at Beachcomber afterwards!  If you are not familiar with this hidden gem, then it is time to put your adventure hat on and go discover it!  We ate, drank and were merry!  It was such a nice morning to sit outside, enjoy the ocean and relax after a seriously grueling workout (Ashley looks so sweet and innocent, but she works us good!).

I made them pose for pictures!

Cheers!
Everything on the menu sounded so good, best part is they use a lot of organic foods!

Get Well Soon!

My sweet little niece is in the hospital, poor baby has been poked and prodded for the last couple days but is doing great!  Tonight we (Mom, Dad & I (auntie erin) ) went to visit her and hopefully that was a nice distraction from all of the stress craziness.  We are hoping that they can figure out what is going on send her home by Friday!

We sent this picture to Aunt Shannon, Uncle Ryan and baby Caroline since they could not bring Caroline to the hospital.

Copper the therapy dog stopped by to say hi!
This picture was taken right after Mari was quizzing the nurse about littering on the sidewalk,
where do they come up with this stuff?

A little singing helps pass the time!

And this goofy kid should be getting a visit from the tooth fairy tonight!
 He lost another front tooth!
I love the up the nose, zoomed in, close up shots!

Get Well Soon Mari!

We LOVE You!

A Sneak Peak!

Today was Family Photo Day, we all met at Central Park in Huntington Beach and had the official 2011 family photo taken!  For those of you who are on the Mudry Family Christmas Card list there is a good chance that you could see one of these beauties on the front of our card this year!  Here are a few on the candid shots that I took with my camera while we were there!  And, if you are wondering where the group shot is, well that is to come!

Photo shoot is not complete without bug hunting!

Someone is done having her photo taken!
