Six years and still no answer!

Every week for the past 6 years when I do laundry I look at the washing machine and shake my head, I wonder why/how could the load size go from small to extra large and skips large?  I seriously look at it every time and think is this a mistake and how many of these washers have been produced with this error and wonder who made the executive decision and are they still employed?

Maybe it is because I bought the Costco Special?
