September is a busy month for the family when it comes to birthdays! My sister Kathy's birthday is on September 7th, sister in-law Shannon's is on September 11th and mine is on September 28th, so it only makes sense to celebrate them together with one cake and one birthday dinner. This past weekend we gathered at the Mudry estate for dinner, cake and presents, just for documentation purposes my Mom tried to burn the house down while BBQing tri-tip (I'm still mad I did not have my camera handy) and we darn near had to break out a fire extinguisher, but the good news is that super dad was able to rescue our dinner from the flames! Anyways, we all gathered together and once dinner was done, we moved on to presents and then to birthday cake and all was well!

The math problem, it is tradition, you must figure out the math problem that equals your age before we light the candles. This year our cousins Katie & Darrell did the math problem, it equals to all three of our ages!
